With the introduction of Version 4.0 of the DynoLAB Test Executive, SAKOR’s flagship product line has become the industry standard in power and performance, ease of use, and affordability. DynoLAB's new Graphical Test Configuration Environment allows you to convert quickly from a logical flowchart to a functional test application in less time, and with less effort than ever before.

This same DynoLAB interface is used to create a basic test sequence, configure asynchronous event responses, and develop reusable macros. And you can seamlessly navigate among these various test components in a user-friendly environment that provides constant error-checking and generous opportunity for detailed description of the test sequence elements.

Whether you prefer to design your test sequences from a top-down perspective, or begin with laying out the details, you'll appreciate this intuitive, visual format. During run mode, you can follow the progress of your test by displaying the sequence diagram on the screen. Each item is highlighted as it executes, greatly simplifying efforts to debug and optimize your test program.

Major features of the DynoLAB 4.0 environment include:

  • Familiar Windows environment - Use any of the wide variety of software packages available for the popular Microsoft Windows operating system to assist in data analysis and presentation.
  • Event-driven actions - Easily configure prioritized responses to asynchronous events. Responses can be as sophisticated as you like.
  • User-configurable displays -Customize the live data display with available graphs and indicators. Many of these can be added or modified while a test is in progress.
  • Asynchronous profiling capability - Create any number of time-based data profiles that can control output channels and variables during a test. The test actions (or event responses) can start, stop, pause, or manipulate the execution of a profile at any time.
  • Extensible driver technology - Dynamically linked drivers and a flexible driver architecture allow us to create drivers as needed to accommodate a wide variety of I/O devices.
  • Closed loop control - Create any number of PID loops, and tune them with a convenient graphical interface.
  • Flexible calibration modes - Choose between formal (ISO) and informal calibration modes on a channel-by-channel basis.
  • Complex calculated channels - Configure an unlimited number of channels whose values are calculated from other channels in the system. Channel values are updated at the same rate as hardware channels are sampled.
  • User-defined security levels - Determine the privileges available to each operator with access to your system.
  • Custom procedures - If your test requires actions that are not available in DynoLAB's built in functions, you can create custom functions using National Instruments' powerful LabVIEW software that can be linked in and called directly from the test sequence.
  • Macros - For convenience, you can encapsulate sets of actions that are used several places within a test into a macro. The result is a more readable and maintainable test configuration.
