Carbon canister development and testing
has become a key element in vehicle designers efforts
to meet ever more demanding governmental emissions regulations.
These units function by trapping organic vapors from the fuel
system (that might otherwise escape into the environment)
onto activated carbon beds within the canister. The adsorbed
vapors are then caused to be released back into the intake
air to participate in the combustion process.
While straightforward in principle, the
performance and testing of these devices are affected by a
number of physical-chemical variables. SAKOR has been conducting
studies and working with leading experts in this field to
better understand these variables and how they affect device
performance and test results. Our engineers have experience
working with a large range of canister designs for a number
of vehicle types. Take advantage of SAKORs experience
by selecting an ECS 3000 series canister conditioning and
test system.

| CanisterVIEW .
. . . is a proprietary software package developed for the
ECS 3000. It is built upon Windows and LabVIEW, and offers
a combination of features, familiarity, and flexibility that
is common to all of SAKORs test products. With an easy-to-use
graphical interface, CanisterVIEW is designed to implement
all EPA and CARB conditioning procedures in a simple, straightforward
manner, while still permitting convenient, intuitive programming
of a wide range of user-defined test sequences |
