SAKOR Technologies developed a powerful, sophisticated system to test aircraft starter/generator units (SGUs) for a major West Coast aerospace manufacturer. The test stand also included a high-precision power analyzer and separate 3-phase regenerative inverter, which enabled testing of the SGU without requiring an aircraft electronics panel. The 18kW AccuDyne AC Dynamometer is capable of operating up to 14,000 RPM. This system is designed to test new aircraft starter/generator products in both starter and generator mode. The DynoLAB test control system can also perform a wide variety of load profiles and simulations, making it easy for engineers and technicians to create their own test sequences in minimal time.
